However, although the design layout had been devised by an architect, it did not suit the client’s needs exactly. So I came onboard to revise the layout and improve the lighting design. Each room was carefully designed in detail meeting the client’s eccentric and individual taste.
I worked closely with the build team and was responsible for the whole interior including the furnishings specification supply and fit.
Although this was a demanding project, and could be frustrating at times (this was not exactly to my taste), of course my philosophy is that I design for my clients and not for me! A key skill for any interior design for certain!
